Sue's cards, tags, and books are inspired by nature and her travels. Many products feature her photography.
Sue seeks to capture unique lighting, composition, and perspectives in natural scenery and architecture across the US and Europe. Nature and texture intrigue Sue. Her style is semi-abstract with colors drawn from nature with the addition of metallic highlights.
Her tags and books are first distressed, then textured by applying layers of color to create a collage of nature. Many pieces feature distressed or antiqued paper. Distressing the paper gives it a natural and durable look and feel. Many products include fanciful buttons, ribbons, and coin-closures.
Every card, tag and book are uniquely hand-made and one of a kind.

Photography by Sue on semi-gloss paper, matted on card stock. I hear from customers that they framed these photo cards instead of giving them away!
Set of Four Assorted Brayered Leaf Cards
Brayered cards feature ink on semi-gloss paper framed on card stock with a preserved leaf. The brayering technique means that each card is one-of-a-kind with different highlights and ribbons of color. Each leaf is picked from our local fall foliage and preserved naturally. Some leaves are pressed in metallic ink before applying to the card to provide more radiant color.
Spring Accordion Book/Journal or Letter
Textured and layered with flowers of spring and accented by metallic highlights. Blank back provides room for a journal or letter. Unique clasp and ribbon allow the book to be folded and tied into a neat bundle. The accordion book is made with distressed paper to give it a durable look and feel.
